[phenixbb] chainid and segid?

Hi Phenix Community-

A very basic question.. 

Is there an option to have a "segid" automatically generated?  (For 
example, in CNS generate.inp, it was possible to "convert chainid to segid 
if chainid is non-blank"). 

Unless I strip out the segid completely, I am running into problems when I 
add residues using Coot (which adds chainid, but not segid) and then 
follow up with refinement in Phenix.
