just a wild guess - could it be that, according to
http://strucbio.biologie.uni-konstanz.de/ccp4wiki/index.php/Phenix#Installation_from_source.2C_and_of_Rosetta_interface

the Phenix installer requires (on Fedora and RHEL) the openssl-devel and
libXt-devel to be installed on the system  ?
