Because we rely on the list archives as a form of ongoing "live" documentation, we encourage everyone to use "reply to all" unless you are really certain that you do not want your message to go to the list. (This especially applies to my colleagues: if you don't copy the entire list, the rest of us have no way of knowing if a question has been answered or not.)</div>
