Coot 1 - "Open in Coot" within Phenix - auto loading PDB/mtz/extensions
Hi all As the stability of Coot1 increases I am looking to start the transition there from old Coot I can get Phenix to open Coot 1 via the Open in Coot buttons. However, it does not autoload the PDB/mtz/Phenix extensions. I know there are many differences between Coot 0.9X and Coot1 under the hood so just want to see if this was currently possible or if it’s something due to my parameter setups somewhere. Would be very useful to implement if not. Best Kelvin
Hi Kevin, Coot 1 support is something we will implement in the near future. We will also distribute Coot 1 along with Phenix. -- Billy K. Oh that is fantastic news. Great to hear and looking forward to it!
Also I am sure my next cohort of students would love to be able to install Coot 1 alongside Phenix directly for their structural biology course
