using dev-596 from source, i see `phenix.phaser --version` is Phaser-2.2.4 (svn ) that's true for dev-601 (Intel binary) also. the phaser wiki says 2.3 is the latest, and to compile it from the phenix distribution. so... wondering how to get phaser 2.3 (before asking questions about ep_sad...) -Bryan

Ignore the version number, it's wrong, or maybe the documentation was updated in advance of an official number change. At any rate, the Phaser distributed with a Phenix installer is always the very latest sources - anything features that the documentation claims are available, should be in dev-601. -Nat
Hi Bryan, It's bed time for the Cambridge people who will have the definitive answer, but I'm pretty sure the wiki is misleading. What you get with the phenix dev installers every night is the very latest phaser version, directly taken from the phaser svn code repository. I just looked at the svn log and the Version.h file with the 2.2.4 number has not been changed since Feb 2010. Ralf ----- Original Message ----

Yes, the version number in the source code is lagging behind the version number on the Wiki. Randy On 7 Dec 2010, at 21:58, Ralf W. Grosse-Kunstleve wrote:
