The old GUI is automatically available, so there is something wrong with either your computer or the installers.  Does the command "phenix.old_gui" work?

I would actually recommend just updating to the newest version, which has new GUIs for both AutoMR and Phaser.  I'm not sure if what we have up there now is going to be the "official" version or not (it's up to Paul), but it is very close to completely replacing the original GUI.

Just out of curiosity, could you please send me the error message?  Even if the old GUI is going away, this may indicate trouble for other programs.
