Hi Armando,

Cyclosporin exists in the pdb (e.g.3EOV) and is the cyclic decapeptide. The 10 amino acids will be present as individual residues in the cif library so you should be able to build it. Try elbos to start with or you can use the existing pdb file as a starting point

Hope this helps

Joel

Subject: [phenixbb] Refining cyclosporin A

Dear All,
We are trying to refine a protein complex with cyclosporin which is a non conventional cyclic peptide. I wonder what is the best strategy to build the cif file. Shall we define the cif file for individual non-conventional amino acids and then link them or shall we define the whole structure as an individual ligand? Does any one have the corresponding cif file?
Armando
